In the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey depicts the tale of Naru, a talented warrior reared by hunters in the Great Plains. Naru is portrayed by Amber Midthunder. She is not about to become a meal when danger faces her people. She uses cutting-edge weapons to combat what turns out to be a highly developed extraterrestrial predator.
The movie's purpose, according to director Dan Trachtenberg, is to return to the Predator franchise's origins.
